The Department is happy to mention that since 1996-1997
academic year some private and government owned industries, engineering
consulting companies as well as individuals have provided scholarships
for the students of geology of Tri-Chandra Campus. The donors came
forward very willingly and showed great generosity by providing the
scholarships and other helps to the department. Presently, we have
following scholarship funds.

The amount
received from the bank interest on the above core fund will also be used
to provide scholarships.
Scheme of scholarship
Each scholarship is provided as
per the conditions agreed upon between the Department of Geology and the
respective donors. The scholarships are provided on merit basis to
second and third year students only. As per the agreement with donors,
many of the scholarships will be provided to students who have passed
from public schools (government schools). We do hope that for the coming
academic years more industries, consulting companies, various
institutions and individuals will come forward to provide scholarships
needed for the second year as well as the third year students. |
