As
per the course of study, the students are required to undergo compulsory
two weeks of field training during the Second year and again three weeks
in the Third year. In addition to that, the students also go to field
excursions at different places of geological importance within the
Kathmandu Valley during their first year.
Tribhuvan University provides partial
financial support to the fieldwork.
