Eligibility for admission in B.Sc.
Geology course is offered only
from B.Sc. level. Most candidates coming from different campuses for
admission in B.Sc. at Tri-Chandra Campus usually do not have enough idea
about this subject. Therefore it is hoped that this brief information
about the general nature and scope of Geology may help them in decision
making before they finally select their main subjects of study.
Candidates may feel free to visit the Department of Geology in case if
they need any further information and guidance.
Students having passed in
second division in proficiency certificate level (I. Sc.) or 10+2
(science) or equivalent degree are eligible to apply for admission to
the Bachelors program.
Admission
All the students seeking
admission in the Geology Department must attend the entrance examination
conducted by Tribhuvan University. They will be admitted on merit basis.
